Count My Beanz is a fun tool designed to help you encourage your child to earn, save and donate using a kid-friendly currency called Beanz!
When you sign up, you will be given access to a Beanz Package specially dedicated to your child, which includes a Beanz Spending Account and a Beanz Savings Account.
What Do I Do With These Beanz Accounts?
Each time you log into your child’s Beanz accounts, you can select certain activities that your child has done and reward them by depositing Beanz into their accounts.
Did Sally get a good grade ? Did Bobby mow the lawn? Is it Jake’s birthday? Reward them with Beanz! 
You’ll be able to select from a preset list of activities worth a certain number of Beanz, or create your own activity and set the Beanz value. It’s simple and fun!
What Do I Do Once I Add Beanz To My Child’s Account?
Once you select Beanz from the activity list, you can deposit them into the spending or savings account. Teach your child the importance of managing their Beanz, saving them and watching them grow over time.
You and your child also have the special option to donate Beanz into a community donation account. Each month, we’ll email your child a donation certificate acknowledging their generosity.
The actual donation to charity is made quarterly to K.I.D.S. and is made possible only though the purchase of Beanz Reward Cards (see below).

Using the Beanz
Beanz can also be redeemed, but they have no monetary value. This is what makes redeeming them so fun…because the reward is up to you!
When you redeem Beanz from your child’s account, you have the option to send your child a Beanz Reward Card in the mail from Count My Beanz, which we create and mail for you (on recycled card stock, of course) for just $5, including postage. $1 from each sale goes to K.I.D.S. (Kids In Distressed Situations). The reward card can be customized by you here on countmybeanz.com.
Want to redeem 30 Beanz and take your child to a special dinner or buy a favorite toy as a reward? We’ll make the customized Beanz Reward Card announcing their reward (you then give the actual reward).
Remember, the Beanz and the reward cards do not hold monetary value…just a warm, fuzzy feeling. This means the options are unlimited and it’s up to you how you reward your child for earning their Beanz!
The important thing is your child will learn how to earn, how to save and how to donate to a good cause. They will also have a blast watching their Beanz Accounts grow!!
What Age Group Is This For?
Count My Beanz is appropriate for any age. It’s particularly a fun tool to start teaching younger kiddos as early as age 3 through age 8 the concept of earning, saving and donating.

- Unlimited number of Beanz Packages. For example, if you have one child, you get 1 Beanz Spending and 1
Beanz Savings Account for that child. If you have two children, or a special niece or neighbor you want to include in the fun, simply create a new Beanz Package (or two). It’s just a click of a button to add a new set of accounts for a new child. - Ability to Send Smiles Beanz Reward Cards will be mailed to your child when you redeem their Beanz (optional). You can purchase these fun customized cards for just $5 (including postage!). This special card makes our donation program possible. $1 from each sale is donated to charity.
- The Gift of Giving. You and your child can donate Beanz. Count Your Beanz will make a quarterly cash donation to K.I.D.S. made possible through the sale of the Beanz Reward Cards.
